You know it’s Christmastime when Frosty the Snowman has made his annual appearance in every yard in the neighborhood. Well, you actually knew weeks ago when you started seeing Christmas trees and festive decorations in every store you went in to. That was all before Thanksgiving, too! However, there’s nothing quite like seeing handmade snow masterpieces adorned with rocks for buttons, carrots for noses, and someone’s old scarf to really put you in the holiday spirit.
You know what else puts you in the holiday spirit? Thinking about that incredible diamond engagement ring you just bought for your girlfriend! There it is, lying in the passenger’s seat next to you, all wrapped up in beautiful, shiny silver paper and tied up with a pretty blue bow. You've been scouting out engagement rings for weeks, and finally, the one you saw today just spoke to you.
The second you saw it in the jewelry display case, you got chills. You were overcome with emotion. Not only could you picture placing this perfect ring on her delicate finger, you immediately had visions of her walking towards you in white, buying a new house together, and - of course - building snowmen of your own with your children one day.
